Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Changed Transmission Fluid, Filter, Valve Body Gaskets, and Pan Gasket. Man that was a messy job.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Installed OEM Aux Audio input on my Ranger.
-MP3/CD player (part number: 7L5T-18C869-AC)
-Aux wire harness (part number: 7L5Z14588A)
-AUX Audio Input Trim Panel (don't have the part number, sorry)
Pretty easy mod... way nicer than the aftermarket audio setup.

Will this work with an aftermarket head unit?

Drove her around for a bit, through some puddles and back home. BIG plans coming soon.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Seafoamed and swapped oil and oil filter, fuel filter, flushed radiator, swapped tranny fluid and replaced the pan, armor alled tires & wheels for first time since I painted the rims. Ahh AT's look good all polished up.
Oh yeah and finished bed lining the entire truck.
Porting and polishing next week, along with headers and full cat-back, stoked to finally get it all on!

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
got a leak in my fuel tank hose, dropped my tank and the tank straps are pretty rotten so it's best to replace them too. $210.00 in parts!! too me that seems ridiculous!

I got a pretty sweet deal on a brand new optima yellowtop, so I bit, and my moms battery had been shitting the bed recently. So I gave her my Motorcraft battery, it's a group 59, and her truck took a 65, but it still works and is held down.

So I put the group size 35 yellowtop in my truck (needed some hold down work, but the universal hold down autozone sells worked just fine)

My moms truck is a 1-owner (just her) 2001 sport trac with 186k on it, damn near original everything, except battery, tires, wiper blades, and plugs and wires. Oh, her friend blew out the t-case though. But the truck still starts/runs just fine! Wtf!
