Key with current working remote was in the ignition, I had the new one in my hand that I just programmed, well was trying to but failed as I read you needed to press both lock and unlock at the same time for a step which wasn't true for this set up but apparently I partially programmed it, well I did that and the damn truck started and yes I freaked a little and reached for the key in the ignition as I didn't know what was happening LOL

What did I do to my Ranger today? I put in more windshield washer fluid lol. Yesterday I machine buffed the living hell out of my bed tool box and replaced the nuts for the J-Bolts that hold them down.

Ran out of gas for about the 15th time. The first 14 times it was because I was stupid, but now it looks like my check gage light stopped working.

Used it to get a free book shelf from CL. (Shelf was in alright condition too!)

Did the airbox mod and the front blinker mod. Ordered wiring harness for 3rd brake light and some wires so I can do the rear blinker mod.

The front blinker is the corner light one. The rear is if you have 3 bulb tai lights, you wire the turn signal up to the 3rd brake light reverse lights and its a blinker as well

Replaced the fuel filter. Started cleaning the MAF, intake tube, intake cone, and the throttle body. I have a stupid rough idle, almost as if I was missing. G H E Y. Giving everything a very thorough cleaning tonight and at lunch tomorrow. Hopefully this fixings the idle.

Yea i just roughed it all up with some 220 than sprayed em, let dry than wet sanded em and touched up the bad spots

Picked up the "new" rear leafs from LKQ.... however, on my way home (driving the Dodge Diesel) I sheared off the caliper retaining bolt. ARRRGH!

Thank god the Ranger is able to run... just don't have it registered and insured. *OOPS*

Filled up and put injector cleaner in it and checked the oil...
