hmm, that throttle cover looks alot bigger and nicer than the one on my 98 4.0. I wonder if they're interchangeable. And I wonder why Ford downgraded certain things as the years went on...

Replaced the coilpack. Did a tune up. Greased the slip yoke. Washed it.

I guess i have to do this then. I have been putting it off now, What did you use to get the band off, and what did you use to replace it with. I heard you can use a large wire tie.

put half a tank, vacuumed,washed. Gave the keys to my best friend. Going to the field for a month so he will be her driving once or twice a week to keep her alive and not sitting lol.

Today I washed and vaccumed her out at the local gas/wash place. Then went to my local O'reilly's and got some Mcguires Clay bar and did that to her also. What a difference it made in the finish. After that was done I waited a little bit and then waxed her as well. It took a lot of time but it was worth it! I have a few pictures I took before and after appling wax to it, my wife says I'm anal for the prep work I do before waxing her(the truck) I mean. You tell me from the pictures if I'm anal or just being cautious about getting wax on the rubber and plastic parts. i don't think so, been doing it for years.

I went to Pull-a-Part and bought one of those two speed Taurus fans for it. It might be a while before I put it in, though.
