I have not really done much really except for a few cosmetic additions. Tinted the rear window and rear side windows, added a soft tux tonneau cover, front window vent visors and the hood deflector, "Line-X" bed liner and lastly I finally got new tires and dumped the OEM ones.

Heck yeah dude! Line-X is SWEET! Was it your or their personal preference to not go farther down the rails (since I see that you paid for over the rail spray.)

As soon as I saw this, I stepped up and asked him what he was doing, to which he replied "getting information". Getting information from under my hood to balance a tire??? Uhhh....yeah. I then told him to close the hood and don't worry about anything under there and just balance the tire. Might I add, my engine runs perfectly with no out of the ordinary noises or check engine light at all. He then tries to tell me that my *new* wheel bearings are bad. Sorry, my boy, but I just replaced those things, and I've been checking them religiously ever since. Places like that are always looking for a sucker, but not this guy, and not today.

I had a guy at a shop do that with my truck once. Took it for a 1-2 minute spin on a busy-ass street. And I thought, 'WTF, that is so pointless, you have to get on the freeway to really tell how my truck is tracking...' And if I knew that was the info they wanted, I would have just given it to them myself based on my own freeway driving.. So many of those guys are either cutting corners with the work, or trying to deceive you into forking over more $$$$. or just gouging the hell out of you "because they can"... It's ridiculous
And NEVER EVER go to Firestone service center for anything. They try to pull all this BS more than anyone.

Yes it was my choice. I liked the look of one of their show pieces and seeing as I do tend to actually "use" it as a truck I wanted the extra protection.

I was actually referencing going farther down the rails like my truck (since I have things overhanging sometimes like bike handle brakes and such, I wanted the most protection...)

That was a Firestone center haha. Even if they would've found something wrong, they wouldn't have been the ones to fix it. I bet they pull stuff like that on women a lot. For the most part, they won't know any better when someone's telling them something's wrong with their car.
