This. Need to fully install the fender flare but that's the idea. One bedside down, rest of the truck to go. Starting to finally like the pro comps too.

Today I learned a very valuable lesson in off roading. Always walk the terrain, and find the wash out ditches with your eyes not the truck.

The guy you see in the picture, and he helped me keep a cool head. I was losing my mind over my baby. To make a long story short and funny, I work at Lowes hardware, and we rent out trucks. One of our available options is a Chevy 2500 HD. We rented that bad boy, brought it out there, and it pulled me out like I was a toy. Since I got it out during night, I didn't see any damage. Shocking! Just mud all over the passenger front fender, and the front Axel took most of the fall and caught in the rut/washout. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Hopefully won't find any damage! We were cruising/mudding, when Kevin yelled ditch. I tried to cut hard to avoid it, but the truck wasn't nimble enough, and it slid out from under me. I think that's why it looks a hundred times worse than it was. But climbing out of the truck from the drivers window still makes me laugh. My friend had to grab the steering wheel and pull himself up to get out of the cab. Luckily it didn't roll, and I and the truck will live to wheel another day. But I think a roll cage may be in my future.

I'm currently washing the passenger side seat cover, and I installed my new front shocks after I got off from work this morning. I know that it may sound cliche, but boy does it ride better! I can actually keep a steady speed over rough spots in the road instead of having to slow down or trying to avoid them. Of course, the ones I pulled off were the original 12 year old Motorcrafts. They compressed with no effort and didn't return to the extended position. I also gave the truck a quick washing after I finished installing the shocks.
