Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Grrrrr... Need to find a new crossmember before the mechanic will cut the old one out. Previous owner welded INTO the bushing. What an ass.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
End result of the drivers side cab corner.
Not the best sanding job in the world, but it'll get me through this winter. Took me about eight applications using tape as a barrier to hold it in the hole while it dried, one layer at a time from bottom to top to get it filled after wire wheeling, rust stripping, and hole enlargening.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Got rid of the chrome on the grill and mirrors. Painted both the Fusion gloss black. I am going to let it dry tor a week or so and hit it with the final coat.Took off the stupid side steps/nerf bars and checked all the fluids.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Got it de-modded for winter--swapped FX4/billet grille for stock chrome, pulled the RS900XLs and put the old crappy-looking RS5000s back on, threw on the Blizzaks on stock wheels, reflashed for different tire size with XCal 2, de-cranked the t-bars.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Pioneer/Ford 6-disc changer, Pioneer 6x8s in back, Pioneer 5-1/4" components in doors, Pioneer 6-1/2" sub in center console, IIRC, amp is built into head unit. All factory Ford stuff, and a very rare option at that. Totally worth the $265 on the window sticker.

My '04 seems to have missed the chrome fitting department on the way out, if it weren't for the aftermarket chromed wheels it would be one big white blob!!

I'm sure it sounds great for stock sound, but there is no 290 watt amp or amps.
