Installed the buggman OHC LED panel last night. Full interior LED conversion is officially done, I have no incandescents in there now.

Unhappy Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

Just rescued it from 4 years of sitting in a friend's driveway. It is back from the mechanic, now on to tires. Still sounds rough and AC not blowing cold, hmmm.

Flushed coolant, replaced with motorcraft "gold" HOAT coolant. Took several passes (drain, fill, run to temp, let cool, and repeat) with a garden hose T replacing the vacuum valve on the heater core line to get clear back flush drain results, so this was probably a good task. Cleaned out the coolant expansion tank as best as I could (brown scale on the sides). Drained the brownish stuff in the windshield tank, and replaced with fresh winter stuff. Didn't have the nerve to try turning any of the 6 bed bolts yet, heard from rangerframefix.com that the 7' bed rear frame c-channels are at least a month away.

Well today I got the Black Widow a catback Magnaflow single in/single out 2.5" exhaust installed, air box modified, and K&N dropin filter ! Sounds awesome, not loud, just rumbly. I can tell a noticeable difference in acceleration... not much, but some ! Hoping for better MPG, if only 1 !

I feel your pain. But I bet you didn't have an idiot mechanic bend both inner tie rod ends when installing coils spacers, then order replacements from Mazda, giving them the VIN so they know the front end has been f*cked with, and then end up having to remove said coil spacers when you realize they have lifted the front too much, refuse to stay seated properly and are interfering with the computer controlled auto tranny shift program.

You have just made me attracted to single cabs, even though I know I don't fit in them...

oh wow that blows big time

Weird that it would mess with the tranny like that, i could see that maybe happening after putting on bigger tires without regearing....but just from lifting the front? that sucks.

Put new rubber floor mats in it. Not that they will stay clean for long, but I tried.
