ordered some 8k hi/lo hids for the headlights.. and cheap 8500k color xenons for the fogs..

Why 8k?
The light output is lower on an 8k.
6k's are the best light temp output, imo.

oh.. didnt really know that fact.. i thought they all had the same light output but the k was the color..

K is the color temperature. 4000K to 6000K have the most light output per watt consumed. The further you go either way from that range, the less light output you have. It's all about the spectrum of visible light, and we try to stay in the middle of it.

Gave the girl a good wash and vacuumed the inside.

Picked up a really nice Dewalt tool bag today so I rearranged my toolbox and put some of my other boxes in the garage.

well... got new wiper blades. rain-x, they work great i really needed a new set.... not the latitudes, just regular ones. work fine for, got to replace them a lot anyway so why not get cheaper ones.....

also picked up 5 qts Mobil 1 and a filter. how about a "what will i do to my ranger tomorrow" thread.....

Painted the fender flairs and skid plate black. Will be painting the tool box next. Thats gonna wait till later tonight, it's too dang hot out there right now.

Went back to the Junkyard for the 3rd time this week. This time picked up a new Dome Light after snapping mine off while trying to get it off for the Explorer OHC install. Very Happy with that mod.
