Went to go get a tire I had (which had better tread than my tire) put on my truck, only to find that when the tech broke the bead off the previous rim (the new tire), the bead of the tire tore off. FAIL.

But on the plus side, I did get this cute chick Katrina's digits

put new sway bar links in fixed my oil leak from changing the heads and fixed my tail gate latch

"Drove it" to find a tonneau cover but all the local truck stores are closed today...for one reason or another...Damn!

Hauled a couple hundred pounds of fire wood for a friend to a place they are having a campfire tonight after their homecoming dance. On the way home, got pulled over by a highway cop for my plate being in the front window and my jack handle sticking out on the drivers side (apparently you can only have it sticking out six inches on the passenger side - never knew that).

Elaboration...

Got pulled over by a highway pig today - gave me a warning for my front plate being in my front window (since the mounting holes on my bumper aren't spaced correctly for the plate)... So I went home, got out my cordless drill, and two battery packs fully charged later I now have my plate mounted on my bumper lol.

Today, I got tired of my cab corners rotting away, so I grabbed a wire wheel, a few different grits of sand paper, some rustoleum primer, and filler.

I will admit, I did a horrible job with the bondo for my first time ever using it, so I will actually have to sand the passenger corner back down, get a little more bondo, and get it done right. Didn't sand nearly enough, but I ran out of time, so I just put like 8 coats of primer on.
