Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Finally got to use the truck for a 'real' task. Towed 2450lbs, and couldn't believe how easy it was with the little 4 cyl. Mind you, I drive like a grandpa anyway, so I don't have high expectations for acceleration. The only downer is that what was being towed was my '79 Fiat Spider Crappy aftermarket electric fuel pump died while we were out on our Sunday drive. Oh, well. At least I got to tow something

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Today: Midas replaced my c racked radiator. They also want to replace the worn clutch. I have little power going uphill, it's challenging getting into first gear AND there's a definite aroma of burning metal after climbing a hill. Sound about right?
This is a 2001 from eastern Michigan that I should have had checked out. Buyer beware... I'm sure the dealer had some idea of the problems I was financing... but that's a different forum.
My only option at this point is to go with Midas, as GE has graciously granted me $1,000 line of credit with them. Oy. How does $850 sound for a new clutch?
Please advise!

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Found out that I don't have to take my truck to work next week, so I took the 10-ply tires and steel rims off and put the factory alloys/tires back on.
put my FRF decals on the truck.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Cleaned it at the car wash with the pressure washer, rain-exed the windshield, and did a half assed detailing on the inside..
Tomorrow: wheel brearing/vacuum hub assembly..

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
The day before yesterday:
Installed HID 6000k (disputedable whether they're 6000k or 8000k)
HID Ballast
Yesterday:
Installed Bugshield
Installed new tailgate handle
Today:
Bought scratch fix paint and clearcoat
Painted this scratch (Can barely see a difference)
this is a pic of where the other scratch was (cant even see it)
