Got hit in traffic going around a right turn from the inside(i was in the outside lane) we pulled in a lot and looked at the damages, i had 0 scraches/marks/dents and her taco had a gash and a big black tire mark from where it hit. it was her fault and she didnt care so that was fun. got the Thule rack installed on the canopy, cleaned it up a bit for a road trip this weekend, and went tire shopping. Pretty much decided on Wrangler MT/R w/Kevlar and black steel Daytona wheels.

Damn Pat, that sucks. But at least if she had actually dinged up your door, then you would have just equaled out the driver's side.

Wide tires FTMFW!

As for my truck, I tracked mud all over the step bars and the driver's side floor. A friend of mine was out running some trails in an open field, and his truck quit in the middle of a mud hole. I went out to help him with it, and couldn't get to his truck without walking through mud, even after I pulled him out of the hole.

noticed the rain made her near spotless! minus a couple of trickles on the driver door, so wiped that off. then took her out to see some friends and watch the midnight premier of "bad teachers"

That is untill her pathetic life spirrils out of controll and six months from now you're hit with a hit and run lawsuit from some contingency lawyer/ambulancechaser.As much as I detest them you should allways call the police no matter how slight the damages, just to get a police report and on the record.
ditto on you being alright and your truck is allright!

After registering to FRF yesterday, the first forum I stumbled upon (thanks to HazardousRanger for pointing it out in his welcome post) was the "Beginners threads of interest." I wasted no time in modifying my intake (sounds only the tiniest bit better to me, but im sure thats just the placebo effect), then cleaning my MAF censor in hopes of gaining an MPG or two. Whether I gain much from cleaning the sensor or not, I feel accomplished! Also zip-tied the throttle cable- damn near marked up my driveway without trying!

Coming tomorrow (Sat.)- Jumping from 245/75/16 to 285/75/16 (stock rims- nothing fancy). And yes, pics to come early next week!

PS- I have about 1.25" discrepancy between my rear and front end. Would it be better to level this out via tbar adjustment before or after throwing on the new shoes? Also to consider- I have a 245/75/15 spare on back right (my motivation to drop dough on new tires!), so my measurements may be slightly skewed. Feel free to PM me to avoid fowling this thread with a tire discussion.

Thanks- I look forward to posting new mods as the time and money come around!!

It won't matter if you have new tires or not you will still have the rake. And the Tbars are easy way to level it but get the front end alignment done very soon after to keep from eating up your tires.

Parked it at the shop for the weekend. Have to use the man's truck till Monday. Didn't wash off the Sharpie graffiti some jaggoff used to write on my Ranger. F****** people don't have anything better to do I guess. Not as bad as the key last year though.
