Cool, is that a 4.0 then?
I'll bet it's a beast out of the hole.
What did that do for your mileage?

yeah its the 4.0. its fairly quick for what it is. it actually helped my mileage all around going from 4.10 to 4.56, the SOHC likes to rev. its happy in the 2200-2500 range while cruising.

I've picked up a '98 2wd and 3.55 gears this fall, that I use as a car.
I basically look at it as a 2 seater with a big trunk (hard tonneau).
I don't do any street racing like i used to when I was a kid, but I have been nothing but happy with the handling and performance, especially after driving the BII for years.
I think it could benefit from some slightly larger wheels and tires, since it seems to have torque to spare, but one never knows.
I'd like to upgrade to 15 or 16" wheels for handling. Maybe I'll run across a set of wheels I like with good tires that I can swap out and experiment.
Thanks,
-zz
