Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
THE BAD
Haven't been able to get on here in the past few days and post this. I have tried to get the CEL to go off 3 times this week. I still have emissions codes that I have had since I got the truck. Since I have had the truck I have replaced the MAFS, rotten vaccum hoses, 2 oxygen sensors (one had wires that had been burned from the manifold), and of course air filters. The last thing I can think of is to replace the last sensor that I haven't replaced or the cats. The first time latley I tried to get the code off was Tuesday. That day I replaced the vac hose. Then later that day a simple fuse made it go off, so I nipped it on the spot. Then on Wednesday it came back on for emissions. The air filter looked clogged so I replaced it and it still came back on. So at this point I am frustrated. Plus every blue moon my O/D light blinks on and off to check the tranny. I haven't found a problem with it yet. It only comes on like once every week and a half. I think it is something eletrical. It shifts harder when the light is on and if you cut the truck off and back on it drives smooth with no CTL.
THE GOOD
I did the headlight mod. It looks great. I also readjusted the headlights.

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Add-a-leaf. Real simple. Got 1.5 in of lift with weight in the bed. So I figure without the weight 2 inches. Makes my truck sit alot nicer

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread
Well today I took the truck to wawa for a Monster and some grapes (yum)! Then went to work to surf on the internet. As I was surfing, I decided to buy two new HID kits for her eyes and a new contact lens as well (driver side headlamp) . Also went ahead and paid my cell phone bill. Can't wait to receive the stuff.

Yea, it only took me about an hour and a half with two people, and i really did all the work. What it really does is strengthen your spring pack, so that it makes the spring harder to compress so it looks higher, i really got it also because i plan on towing alot with my truck
I plan on doing a shackle kit soon too, You might be able to just get away with the shackle kit though.
