Fixed mine a few days ago, didn't post though... was standing on it when it decided to SNAP and me and the tailgate both hit the ground. Apparently the bushing keeping it in place on the bed was also bad along with the cables... found that out the hard way.

Fixed now though. After a long hard laugh from my girlfriend when I busted it, wish she would have atleast had a camera so I could be $10,000 richer after AFV picked it up.

REMOTE START

Cudn't live without it. Actually that's one of the big reasons I dumped the '07. Only got it this past summer but it was too plain Jane for me. One flukey morning about a month ago I finished a night shift and it had frosted overnight. I was totally unprepared and didn't even have a scraper. Had to sit in the truck for like 5 mins frozen waiting for heat to defrost the windshield so I could go home. While I was sitting in it I was thinking why am I paying for this truck? lol

Took it to Home Depot. It works much better than my Z for that errand.
It's also a lot less likely to get me in trouble coming home from the pub.
