Filled her up Sunoco Racing fuel, once again. Wallet gets smaller, tank seems to get bigger.
And drove it 84 miles round trip to work.

Every now and then just fill her up with 93, put about 12 gallons in. Do it about every third or fourth fill up.

What for? Higher octane doesn't really benefit motors that aren't meant to run on it.

Oh, so you just got commercial Sonoco fuel.
I thought you meant you filled up with actual Sonoco Race fuel - of which, the lowest grade/octane is 94 (IIRC) and shoots up from there.

My personal belief is it helps with some of the carbon deposits. The hotter it burns the cleaner. She does seem to enjoy the higher octane as I see better mileage afterwards. Numbers don't lie, keep track of fuel, twice a week since I've owned her.
Ya when I say "racing fuel" I'm being a smart ass. Sorry I get a little to caught up in NASCAR, I think they run something near 115-120 octane, sorry 4.0 you just couldn't handle it.
