Re: The SEMA Ranger
For some reason my browser won't load the link. I'll have to check it later.
I want to say they built twin trucks for SEMA '03...one an 03 the other an 04. Both Whippled 3.0's and both in the epic color of Autum Amber. The 04's interior looked like an 04+ FX4LII. If memory serves me right, it used Thunderbolt skirts and the prototype front bumper cover for the later released STX. They were slick units that didn't need much to look PERFECT in my eyes.

Re: The SEMA Ranger
Needs blacked out headlights with projectors and 06+ corners blacked out and 06+ tails
Throw in a alpine double din with some subs and it would look good.

Re: The SEMA Ranger
it's cool for a race truck. i think the tires need to fill the space a bit more. if you have the opportunity to buy it i totally would because it's so rare!
I wish Ford would do a special off road edition...

Re: The SEMA Ranger
I've wondered why they wasted their time with 3.slow.....when they could have used a 4.0 and got about the same result or, and even better yet, a 4.6/5.0/etc and right out of the box got more hp and torque without the significant cost burden. Just seems like a waste of effort, I mean, those modded 3.slow numbers are just a tad better than a stock 4.0, but if that had been an actual, for sale to the public truck and in consideration of required sales and the break even point, it';s indisputable that truck would be an epic fail. On the other hand SEMA and car shows are opportunities for discrete R&D and other agendas, so..........

Yes!
That is a cool rear window, I'd love to see it roll down vertically into a discrete compartment and for the entire thing to be made with the same glass used in the early 90's Olds Tornodos windshields. This is the glass that has gold in it and when a current is passed through it viola, defrost but without the forever unchanged 1975 (and 2014) style defrost grids.

That should be easy enough to do. Ford offered windshields that did that.
