Default This Caused My Flat!?

On Monday, was out doing stuff outside, and when I came into the garage, I noticed my truck was kinda leaning.. Thinking, "What going on??"

So I looked around and saw my rear tire was flat down to the rim! Thinking ok, I had my tires rotated last week, and haven't driven it for a few days.

Filled it up with air, and did a quick eye ball to see if I can find a nail. No luck. Next morning, I looked again the tire was low, but not flat.

Took it in, and guy came into the room, and showed me this!

I am like, "Are you kidding me!?" He said this was the casue of your flat! Guess I got it when I was at the brush dump last week!

A buddy of mine had a full huff from a horse in his tire! I couldn't believe it...neither could the tire shop. lol it was rattling around inside his tire for a mile before he noticed. What a story.

Back when I still had my Jeep I had just gotten all new tires and was driving along some rail road tracks to get to a wheelin spot. I'm half way there and start hearing air escaping. I get out and there is a fucking railroad spike in one of my tires. I put the spare on and took the tire back to walmart for replacement. The guy mounted the spike on the wall with a sign that said "This is why you buy road hazard." I'm so glad I spent the extra money for the insurance, the tire had less than 100 miles on it and I'd have been pissed if I had to buy a new one....

I used to work at NTB and i saw a lot of odd things... a wrench.. a fork... part of a fishing rod.. but probably the most memorable this was a piece of a soda can.. To this day i have no idea hot it managed to penetrate the tread.

As a truck driver, I see some pretty good sized bolts get stuck into the treads of a truck now and again. Ever been near one of them things when they 'blow out'? Sounds like a damn cannon. I like my buddy's way of mounthing them w/ether though
