yes it does, its the xl package so thats to be expected, but I do want the non power windows and non power doors. just something that I feel has less chance of breaking or causing me problems in the long run. No matter what truck I get im going to be changing the grill and things of that nature and all the xlt's/edge/fx4 around me are atleast 2 to 3 grand more for this same eqiupped truck so I figure I could get the cheapest one that meets my needs and the little money I saved on the truck use on it.

Yeah, I have the XLT without the power options, I like non-power aswell.

Seams like a good price, and with 4x4

don't tell them you want power... complain it doesn't have power and see if you can get them to lower the price... when you nit pick the vehicle it makes them work harder to "sell you" on it

Find your own financing then tell them you want a cash discount (if they offer it, most places do)...usually around 3 to 5%, which in this case can add up to around $400 to $500 off, on top of anything else you can find wrong with it that you're going to have to "fix".

When I bought mine, the salesman told me it was a 98 Ranger, blah blah blah, and started talking to me like I was some kind of idiot who hadn't been a Ranger fan since I was 10. I bet him $1000 off I could prove it was a 97, and if it was actually built in 98, it was built in January. I showed him the 14 inch rims, no tachometer, paddle mirrors, and a few other options that were standard on 98's that were not on my truck. I told him the only thing that makes my truck a 98 is the 2.5. We looked on the door label; date of manufacture: January 1998.

He honored the bet and took $1000 off, with an additional 5% off for cash discount because I got my own financing through Chase. I pretty much stole the truck, and 150,000 miles later, I'm still laughing.

The back looks real clean without the jump seats. I perfer to have them though, as they don't take to much room away and allow a couple more passengers if absolutly necessary (ya never no who else may jump a ride). Rims need to be swapped out to. Nice truck though. Price does seem a tad bit high. But I'm sure you could work it down a bit (as others have pointed out for ya).

too high for me.. i'd offer 8,000 and see what they come back with. its a 4 year old truck with decent miles on it, but that doesnt warrant a 12g price tag.

hey guys check in the new member section because I posted something about it, but I am happy to say I got it. and btw it is a 2 door extended cab but it does have jump seats, they just are folded up. I didnt think it would have them either but it does. A few things, umm first off thanks for the replys even though I didnt get most of them until after I already bought it lol but owell. I ended up payin mid 10 for it. It is financed through my bank because I sold my 03 lincoln ls v8 premium and took that money as a down payment and got the rest on a loan which enabled me to keep about 2,000 in savings to play with and just in case. I think everyone will agree the first thing is the get some new RIMS and TIRES for sure. oh also one thing I was suprised is it is the R7 code which is ford 8.8 LS 4.10 gears which I am really happy about. but once again thanks guys I am going to be taking some pics tomorrow and post a post in wheel and tire section for it so be on the look out to help. I have noticed that there is alot of people here that are very knowledgeable and can give the info on just about anything someone would need to know, you just have to be patient and wait for the responses. sorry for the long post, thanks again, Zach.
