Ya. Rangers are tough. Hooked my battery cables back up and it started up after a few seconds. Leaking coolant like no other. Police would not let me drive it though. All the police and fire fighters were impressed that it started on the first try.

I'd love to hear your reasoning behind this.

Seatbelt laws? Speed limits? Emissions and inspections? And if not for you, it'll keep some ass from going 90 thru a school zone, plowing into you head on since his brake lines are rusted through, and flying into your passenger seat.

Now that's what I like to see, just because it's broke, doesn't mean it can't be fixed!

I heard that to; however my folks 2013 F-150 doesn't have daytime lights. I always turn at least the fogs on when I drive it. Glad everyone is okay and can't wait to see it back on the road!

All motorcycles must have their headlights on...to help with visibility. Now if all cars start having their lights on...it has the reverse affect.
I don't see how a person can claim a reverse affect. For years Canada has required DRL's and studies have shown that they help prevent accidents. I don't see what the big deal is against them since the lights automatically come on. Also, they aid in being seen, which can only be a benefit.

Man...that could have ended far worse than it did. Glad everybody is ok...holy crap.

Here in Georgia people have an issue with headlights. Almost everyday I see vehicles without headlights on when they should be on. Early morning, dusk and raining...these idiots don't care. They fail to realize the headlights in limited visibility are NOT for YOU to see but for OTHERS to see you.

I have just made it a habit like putting on my seat belt...if my truck moves seat belts are on and headlights are on.

Hate people that do that, people do it all the time here in the snow, I usually honk at them, pull up next to them and tell them to turn their damn lights on before they kill someone. My friend had a similar incident and was almost killed because some kid didnt have their lights on at night.
