Re: Ford to Continue U.S. Ranger Production "Indefinitely"

You didn't have to read to the end, it said "April Fools!" in the title at the top.

Re: Ford to Continue U.S. Ranger Production "Indefinitely"
Uhh ...MN governor tim pawlenty just signed tonight (no joke) a Bill that would give Ford huge incentives and tax breaks to keep the ford Ranger plant open and operational way beyond it's 2011 closing date. it was just on the 10pm news here in Minneapolis, MN. also, the plant is powered entirely by the mississippi river. it has it's own power plant, so it will always be self sufficiant.

Kind of funny they have "April Fools!" next to the title when the title is actually accurate.

I told you so....

The question is: Are the incentives/tax breaks enough, or will Ford move the Ranger plant somewhere else?

Re: Ford to Continue U.S. Ranger Production "Indefinitely"
I really think a mini-Raptor based on the Ranger would be a hot seller. Sure, the F150 Raptor is awesome, but a smaller version (maybe with a micro-bed to compete with the Jeep/samuri/tracker types of vehicles) would be Rocketballs!
In fact, I think I feel a photoshop project coming on...

Rangers are ridiculously popular in Canada, glad they aren't killing it anytime soon.
