When you think a bulb is out but if is the wiring.
When projects don't go as planned.
When you can't get a bumper off as easily as you thought.

Things that piss you off when working on your Ranger
Hmmmm....
The Wife, Grand kids, Neighbors, Their mega bass thumping music, Their cats,and/or dogs, Birds, Running out of beer before the project is finished.
Contemplating the project at hand, Finding "How-To" videos on every subject, and every car, EXCEPT what I need to work on.
And of course the usual little annoyances, like rusty crap in your face, Nose itching just as you get elbow deep in grease, Lifetime guaranteed sockets dying just as you bust a nut loose, finding the nuts bolts rounded off from the previous owner's attempts at repair/maintenance.
And MY #1 is....
Some fool coming up and kicking your feet when you're under the truck trying to put that cross member with the "floating" nuts on the inside back into place, and saying "Hey! Ya Busy?"
Kinda makes me wish I lived in Colorado where at least I could be legal, just thinking about it.

Re: Things that piss you off when working on your Ranger
My number one pet peeve about my truck would be is when I'm trying to unbolt something and the damn wrench slips off the nut and I bust my knuckles open. Another is when I drop a bolt or socket in my garage it takes a magical 10ft bounce across the damn floor....

Re: Things that piss you off when working on your Ranger
I don't mind skinning knuckles, bumping my head, burning my arm or getting dirty, while working on my truck. The thing that get me is when I'm under the truck, and some guy stands right where I need to move to, or roll out from. Then asks if I'm sure I'm doing it right.

I hate it when people say "you are doing this wrong" when they don't know what YOU are doing
