2WD wants to be a 4WD
Does anyone else have this on their 2wd? I checked a few of my buds rangers (a 2000, 2002 and 2008) and it isn't there. Makes me wonder if my truck has "hidden potential" lol.

You talking about on the gauge cluster by your speedometer? If so, all Rangers have that. It's economies of scale... it's cheaper for Ford to make/buy one panel for all Rangers instead of dividing production across both drivetrains.

Your bud's rangers have 'em too....
The only ones to not get it are the 03 XLT 2wd rangers because that idiot light is very visible on the silver face. OP's '06 has a TPMS indicator too.....as do most 04-06's, even though none of them had the Tire Pressure Monitoring System on the trucks. Same with cruise, foglights, etc.

My ranger has it too and it isn't a 4X4.
