Yes I can it's an old truck it's gonna have dents and scratches and I still have some bondo and primer on a spot. It's a truck and I use it as a truck to get where a car can't get to and do the things a car can't do

I used to be much more particular about my vehicles. When I bought my bronco from my dad in 2004, he always had kept it in pristine shape. washed once a week, garage kept, fully maintained. I was living at home at the time, going to college, and he allowed me to keep it parked in his garage since he only had one other vehicle. I respected how clean he kept it for all those years, and knew I had to keep it up. And I did, until I moved out the next year. Lost the garage space, the convenience of being able to wash it at home, exc. It was my daily driver, and I developed an interest in 4 wheeling. Went downhill from there. Sat outside in the different weather conditions, normal wear and tear from parking lots, careless people, exc.

Bottom line, I still keep my vehicles in great shape. But I've given up on keeping them perfect.

I fall in the same boat. I used to have my 94 Ford Ranger. By the time I got the truck it had been backed into a trailer, hit a deer, and drivers side door had been beat up. That didn't mean I was irresponsible? That thing was baby blue but I loved it. I used to wash it, dents and all, once a week. Loved that truck. 7 years later though and living in a city it's near impossible to keep it perfect. Plus my truck is used for camping, hauling, work etc. just like everything else I do to my truck I do it to meet my needs, and imperfections come with actually USING your vehicle. I will say that the dent I have on my fender drives me insane.

I try to keep my truck in great shape but if I gotta haul something or go out in the field or woods I know its gonna get scratched and I don't let it bother me but dings from parking lots I can't stand!

I know at times we all get dents and scratches on out trucks. I do love a nice clean vehicle and I'm at the age where I can replace or repair things that get damaged. I wasn't brought up rich or having a lot of things given to me so I respect what I have and worked hard to get. dented fender $80 after market box side $220 rockers $75 just a little price on things that can be replace at a decent price. rust proof your trucks wax it a few times a year know where the rust will start on the model vehicle you have and stay on top of it. keep our rangers looking good and running strong. don't get me wrong a truck that is all decked out for the mud or rocks look great and I love seeing them and playing in them. Just my 2 cents for all it's worth

My dad bought a brand new '89 Ranger in '88. Stopped on the way home from the dealership and bought a load of gravel just to get the first dents and dings out of the way. I drove that truck until I finished college and got a good job in '99. It was beat to hell, but had 235k miles on it when he sold it.

Id at least put a tarp down (still do, but only cuz it makes pulling the last of the load out easier).

Actually, he did. I was maybe 5-6 years old, but yeah, he pushed me into the deep end of a semi-local city pool to teach me to swim.

It worked.

Nope, can't. Any dents, dings, or deep scratches, and it's a bucket to me until it gets fixed.

I have to fix peoples dents everyday all day. The last thing I give a f**k about at the end of a 60 hour week is if I have a dent. I welcome them know that I do not have to fix it

I could live with minor or moderate damage....it is a truck. Body damage to my new Mustang.....NO!!!!
Since I refuse to go to Walmart, I don't get the "Walmartian dings" from clueless people with shopping carts.
