Haha that's funny.....
Clean looking truck. Wow 1700 is to much to fix the ac. Ford dealer replaced about everything for the ac on my old company's 92 f-150 truck for $800. Compressor, condenser dryer and a few more things.
Look up the value on nada.com

Re: Value?
4wd or 2 wd?
Up north here with no rot on it, 2wd 3000-3500 or so
4wd 4000-4500
Low miles+ Rot free+ 4wd(?)= $$$$$ up here north
You should be able to get around 3000 I think. Just it may take a while to sell.
I see your in TN. Don't know much about what you guys see for rust and if rust free trucks are hard to come by but in the north east they're hard to come by.

Re: How much would you pay for my truck
I don't have any use for a stepside, but if I was planning a conversion to flatbed, I could look for a cheap stepside instead of hacking a fleetside. So 1000, maybe 1500 for any of the above steppies. There are a few flatbeds already on craigslist, so that would be easier.
I know a guy who had a Ranger with a wrecked bed. He considered building a flatbed, but then the engine blew. Now he drives a bowtie.

Re: How much would you pay for my truck
Will post mine here soon. I think I know what I've spent on it. Curious to see what people would pay when it's not on jack stands anymore
