Not truck related, but I have a true story that floored me awhile back.
Anyway it has been about 5 years since I had a beer, as my friend who I used to drink with on the weekends killed himself and I just stopped cold turkey since then.I was sitting in my chair in the garage with my dog snoring under my chair and it just hit me,boy a cold beer sure sounds good.So I said come on Jewell's lets go in the truck. It's about 3 blocks from my house to the liquor store and I get out go in and a guy was looking at me at the counter as we were waiting to pay and we he got to the front, he told the lady clerk, I want pay for his 6 pack too.I told him man you don't need to do that, as I've got some money and he told me I don't care, I'm buying your beer.Needless to say, I was pleasantly shocked. When we got outside we were talking and I ask him if he was in the service, as he was about 35, he told me he served 2 tours and told me about everywhere he has been stationed. He was a very nice polite young man and I thanked him again and asked him how I could repay him and he said "just help somebody else out" I'll never forget that young man and I'll pass it on to someone else some time.Thought I would pass this on, as I wish more people in this forum would do the same, as the World is getting mighty ugly anymore.
Thanks for reading!

Yeah it's really nice. Something about the rarity of later model level 2's attracts a lot of attention when people are used to seeing old beater Rangers everywhere.

I went to your user cp to check out your truck and noted you haven't put together a album, so I could scope out your truck.I agree cream puff Fx4's are the leader of the pack when it comes to Rangers.

No beer, but that's the type thing us heavyhaul guys do. You don't have to know the guy by name, you just recognize each other, and help each other out. There are some dirtbags that wouldn't help you if their very life depended on it, but thankfully, there are more that will, and refuse anything in return.
Karma tends to get the dirtbags though.

That's great John, glad you work around such great guys.I sure makes your job easier and your day go better, for sure. The job I used to do, there was plenty of nice guys, but a few dirt bags, like where you work. I honestly don't miss my job,it was fast paced and nerve racking.

Roberto, don't let all those years of kitchen updates get to you, my friend.Seems like you got a good friendly neighbor. My favorite neighbor, is a young Hispanic family across the street from me.Take care Bud!

Here's mine and it's got 200k miles and it's like new in and out!

I think I know why he offered me 10k lol. I wouldn't sell it for 50k, only because it was my first truck. I do love rangers, and when I meet those rare ranger lovers lol.

I get some compliments. Nothing special, just keep it clean and running good. My neighbor tells me a few times a year that if I ever want to sell it he is my only phone call
