I rarely see modified rangers in my area, my trucks also yellow so it stands out. I've gotten a good amount of compliments but my favorite was from a cop. We went on about the ranger he used to own and I just let him talk on and on. Eventually we both wished each other a nice day and he said he liked my front plate (people get tickets ALL the time for not running front plates, and I had a gadsden flag on mine instead lol). Most spontaneous compliment was from a nissan 240sx on the highway. He flew up to me, yelled he loved the truck, I told him I liked his 240 and then he took off like a bat out-a-hell. And kids... kids like yellow trucks, a lot.

I've had a few here and there at stoplights. People love the cammed idle. And I got a few after I put on the mustang wheels.
I'm sure lots of guys tune their ears in on the 5.0 sound. It's a real sleeper!

You could call it a compliment, a couple guys I work with said my truck looked better with the summer tires/wheels, than the black ones.

John afraid I would have to agree, not much of a black wheel fan.But as they say,"different strokes for different folks". If I had the money some black stock steel wheels with chrome baby moons would look cool on Ol' Blackie.

Bob,
I was wondering what kind of wheels (name brand) did you put on your truck? They look like the aluminum slotted wheels that I had on a 68 Mustang GT I had back in the 80's. They look great on your truck.
Mike.

Ya, they're only on there for this winter. I really don't like them that much either, they're just plastidipped Outlaw II's. Sort of an experiment to see if that stuff will hold up in a Michigan winter. Come spring, the other wheels with some 31's will be on there.
Yeah, baby moons, with a chrome trim ring. Now those were the days!!!LOL

I like black wheels if you're going for a blacked out look. Badges, grill, smoked lights, trim, that kinda stuff all black. With yours the chrome definitely looks better! Just my two cents. Good lookin truck!
