Impressed with the exhaust paint I used!

Hey guys,

So I painted my exhaust because I dont want it to rust through and I am very impressed with how it came out so I wanted to share. I made a how to video in case anyone wants to do the same! It was really simple so...

You said in the video you were spray painting it black but it came out looking like a gray primer?

Yea, it drys almost the color of a primer gray. Not the black I wanted but I am impressed with the finish and durability. Ill let you know if it gets darker with use.

Hmm... I used the exact same stuff for my exhaust and your right, it turns out great. I don't understand why it turned a gray color for you cause mine came out black. Followed the same process too.

You were probably going off the cap color. Look at the bar code and it will say the color in the white box on the top.

A lot of times the caps are colored like the paint should be but they get swapped around a lot at stores. I make sure to check the label

Yea, this was in the same spot as all the other black ones but possibly... Who knows.

Just as an update for everyone. The paint is now black. After it getting baked on there from the exhaust heat, it turned a deep black. So far I am impressed with the durability!
