Default Lucas Fuel Treatment

Does Lucas Fuel treatment actually work? i bought a bottle just for giggles and grins, and haven't really noticed a difference in my gas mileage

I noticed a 0.8 - 1 mpg gain on my ranger while using it. I commute about 102 miles per day, %90 of that on the highway. My truck has 60k+ on it. I noticed NO difference in my mustang, which is a weekend warrior and just cruises around with a lot of stop and go. It has 18k on it. I keep track of my MPG ratings both on pen and paper and with a iphone app (gas cubby, awesome app).

If I buy a few gallon jugs of it when it goes on sale, so it pays for itself with a little "gained" money. I use it frequently on my ranger.

And yes I tried not using it, and my MPG dropped back to "normal". Only mod I have is the air silencer removal.

Funny this thread came up, since I stopped using it then used it again before adding data to my app, since I got a new phone and forgot to online sync it then lost all the data, lol.

Figures so far (only a 50-60 mile commute the last few weeks)

All the figures came out the same on paper. Driving habits remained the same and I have a straightforward commute with little to no side stops or periods of idling. All regular gas (87) from chevron. Sometimes I go to Valero (couple times a month, as seen by the $0.10 cheaper fill ups). I only go to those two stations, same location even lol.

AutoZone had a buy one get one the other day for the Lucas gas treatment. I have run it in two consecutive tanks. the first tank I didn't see any mileage difference. But my latest tank I got 25 more miles...Im a believer that it helps clean stuff out safely but its no miracle worker.
