I am a male 6'3 and want my uncles 1996 ford ranger XL single cab pickup. I want to know if I can fit in it before I make any offers. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm six foot one with no shoes on, fit fine in my 94xlt for years. It was a single cab as well as my new project ranger. Not room enough to do a miley Cyrus dance but I fit fine.

Youll fit, wont be comfortable unless you like your knees touching the dash though. Go try it on for size though.

I'm 6-2 and fit my 2000 reg cab no problem, but everyone is built differently. I'm long in body and my inseam is only around 33. YRMV

Yea you'll fit I'm about the same size as you maybe not in the weight area but I'm about 6,3 IMO I'd get your uncles and try to get an extended cab much more room and you can lean the seat back a lot further

'98+ ranger single cabs are a tad bit bigger (only 3"), just enough for me to be comfertable in my '00 (i'm 6'4"). however the older single cabs are just small enough to not really work well for someone that's tall. it could be OK if your legs are not super long... all rangers have a pretty good amount of headroom.

if you can, go sit in the truck and see how it feels. if it's not a good fit consider a 98 or newer regular cab OR an extended cab.

2000 XLT 4X4 Offroad, 4.0 / auto, supercab - the project truck!

I'm 6'3" and have a '96 standard cab. Fit just fine once I replaced the bench with Mustang bucket seats. The larger cab size of the newer models will likely be more comfortable though. An adjustable wheel will also help.
