carry a gerber multitool in my bunker gear. Good for cutting wires, turning off gas meters, or whatever else I need a tool for.

Also have the small FuBar that i carry too, just slightly modified at the place where the nail puller used to be, cut out to fit gas meter shut-offs, and that thing will hold my 275 lb ass on a 2x4 without any problem.

You know what there is a better choice than anything else Victorinox made from surgical steel. They make every combo there is and they never get dull due to the metal they are made out of!

i've had my kershaw for 4 months, and i had to take it back to get it sharpened after 2, and its ready again. I broke both of my leatherman within 1 month of buying them. lol

I've been needing a multitool for a long time - ever since my Leatherman PST had been swiped, so I finally ordered a SOG PowerAssist.

I've also needed a utility folder, so I ordered a Spyderco Pacific Salt (yellow, serrated blade) as well.

Can't wait to get my goodies!

Gerber is the shit! I got one from my bro that he used in Afghanistan and I like it! I found a leatherman at the junk yard a few weeks ago, I forgot to even look at it, this thread reminded me!!
