Don't have a coil spring compressor so is there anything u can use instead of that? Or do u absolutely need it

i personally wouldn't do it without one. i think you can 'borrow' one from a parts store. they might not be too expensive idk.

Autozone loans tools for free. They charge you the full retail price incase you decide to keep it but credit it back when you return it.

Are crescent tools any good? I just picked up a "full mechanic" set for 80 dollars brand new in box, worth new 130 i guess? Never heard anyone talk about crescent cause people obviously love snapon but yeah just curious if these are any good

Never heard of them. But cant you also just drop the suspension slowly after removing the shock? It's what I did when I did my lift, and I had the spring compressor...I'm the end it wasn't needed. This took pressure off the spring and I didn't have to stand in front of it lol just in case
