Either will leak. A sunroof will "trickle". T tops will flat out pour! The only T tops I have seen not leak are ones that have NEVER been taken off. So take your pick. Good luck with your project.

So I went with a moon roof from the junk yard.
Moon roof = 35 bucks
Sealant = 8 bucks
Metal saw jaw blades = 5 bucks
My 2 and 3 year old helping install it = priceless
But total = 48 bucks and two hours

The headliner was crap so I'm looking for a new one also looking to move the dome light or I might just hook a
led strip up

Perhaps you said it but what did you pull yours from? And did you cut the inside of the truck? That "support" that runs through the center?

I pulled it out of an Aerostar. And yes I did cut the brace that went up the middle but not the one that ran from side to side. So I still have some support

Haha I'm in Twentynine palms I know what you mean about hot. But I don't have ac so the extra opening helps.
