yeah the heat is an issue with the ultra gauge. hopefully later the company will re design it and have it be able to detach from the OBD2 plug

Those pics help a bit, but does anyone know how to actually fab up a plug? I guess in theory it would be simple, but I would rather have a guide before I start splicing.

As he says later on in the thread the spots are marked on the board. So it is just getting a connection port soldering the wires then matching it with the plug u attach to the cord.
