I was towing a jetski and had a bed full of camping gear, so yea, that was the plan.

Problem solved, looks like a good set up.
I don't like those gas prices though!

Neither did I. I went through two tanks of regular for the truck, and two tanks of super for the ski for a total of more than 200 bux.

I think I averaged 17mpg highway with that setup. jet ski and trailer were 750 lbs, the ladder rack about 150, and the boat was 100. Add about 600 for gear, and the weight of us.

My best ever is 20mpg highway. I'd gladly give up 3 if someone would give me those toys. LOL
