The blue ones are support from it flexing while going 30+ in the desert the red ones will be welded to the frame and the green and blue to my existing bed cage. I might put gussets too I'm not sure yet but it would help the strength of it. I'm also gonna put heims on the light rack so I can fold it down so my gas mileage isn't completely screwed

Not yet but I'm considering keeping the truck and fully caging it and keeping all my interior. I'm also looking for a mildly built ranger that I can fully cage and make that a off road truck only that I can jump and not have to care about breaking it.

cab cage first. lights on your bumper should be more than enough. you don't want to go faster than is safe.

Im stalling on the cab cage because my interior is nice or I would have done that first. I know it should be done first in case of a rollover all the force would be on the front of the cab. once I get another truck soon I'll do it for sure

Yea I'm aware of that. I'm gonna build another truck that I can go out and play in jump, roll break and what ever else I can do to it. I'm not worried about a rollover in this ranger because I don't have coil-overs yet so I'm not smashing on it. I have been doing desert runs lately with some local guys but nothin to intense.
