rear hitch mod after bl
I searched but can't find it. Someone had pics of a rear hitch that was cut and modified to fit with 3"bl. I thought they were going to post a How-To, but I can't find it. Does anyone have info on this.
Thanks

Re: rear hitch mod after bl
That doesn't look as good as cutting it up and re-welding it.

Hey Redneckstone. That looks great. So basically you just cut a section out and rewelded it? How big a section did you cut out, 2 1/2"-3"? Anymore info would be appreciated.

Re: rear hitch mod after bl
I took mine to a local fab shop and had them cut it and weld it between the frame rails to come out through my roll pan. But recently I took off the roll pan and put my stock bumper back on, did some modifying to the stock bumper, added a flip-up plate bracket, and done. I will try to throw up some pics tomorrow.

Re: rear hitch mod after bl
Thanks! I really like the clean, finished look, all tucked up and pretty. But pull my trailer a fair amount so need the hitch. Only thing is the hitch is high enough that I use a 10" drop. I could use a bigger drop, but the big drops sure do get expensive...
