Would you trust puting a motorcycle rack on there with a 250 lb bike on that bumper, i am looking to do something like that and instead of using the aditional recievers as recovery hook recievers, using them as stabilization brackets so the rack is more rigid with the truck. If that makes any sense to you at all!

its all built out of 1/4" thick steal and yes a 250lb bike would be no problem at all. My shocks are the weak point not my bumpers lol

If you get rear ended by the time the bumper makes contact your tailgate will be trash and your tail lights are history with a corner shot but I guess you didn't design this to prevent damage. Leaving the ball in will help some.

I wonder if he got himself a smart lawyer to prove that if you wouldn't have installed an non DOT approved bumper that there would be no damage and leave you hanging with the bill. And then slap you with a lawsuit saying that if you wouldn't have installed that mighty fine bumper he wouldn't have been staring at it instead of your brakelights.

No just aint paying for your crap if i don't have to that's all. If I hit you in the rear that means you were either texting or you spilled your beer in your lap and had to slam on the brakes. I aint paying

That is a pretty intricate thought process, but i know from first hand that no matter how much they screamed and yelled and no matter how many good points they brought up, they still rear ended you and they are on the hook for it. I am going through all that shit right now and no matter how many rebuttals i come up with, suck as she slammed on her brakes when there was a green turn arrow just so i would hit her, there is no getting out of it.
