I recently found out my frame is cracked and need some advice on what I should do! (98 Ranger XLT 4WD 200,000 Miles)







Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I can't see your pictures, but they can. How much $$ do you want to spend on a 16 year old truck with 200,000 miles?

I would be worried about other areas of the frame with rust issues as well.

best bet is replace the rear frame section.

^^^^^What he said.............98 up you have that option, but your gonna have to get a donor truck, as I doubt many boneyards are gonna let ya have just the rear section.

do a search for rangerframefix.com i think it is they sell frame parts and such cross members etc. - raise the bed up and take a better look and you can make a better assesment of what you got then decide if its worth the investment - labor/$ good luck
