That leak sucks. Clean that area up and pressure test the cooling system. Could be intake gasket but you're probably right about timing cover. To answer the question about fan clutch, use a pneumatic hammer on a lip of the left side the clutch nut and bbbbrrrrraaaaapppp; 2 seconds and it's loose enough to turn by hand.

Did that myself. Had same issue removing the fan clutch so I got some bent steel with wholes and hammered it out and cut out the rest with dremel tool. Once you place the bolts inside the holes and tighten the bolts It really gets snug and unmovable. Better than any tool you can buy. Besides you can fit a pipe over it as an extension for more leverage.

I'd much rather rent the proper tool and get all my money back than trying to make something and then being out the $ for it. Yes you might use it again and at that point it might be worth it. But if we are talking about the fan clutch, advance sells the proper wrench. $60 or whatever, you use it, return it and get ALL your money back. Why would you not do this?

I've rented, the fan clutch tool, ball joint press, spring compressors...etc. If I would have purchased all these tools I would have spent over $500+ easily. I did buy a race set tool, only because they didn't rent that and I found one on amazon for a decent price and it's paid for itself. But the majority of tools if I can rent from Advance I will...
