I did the same exact thing lol welding class. And 2 inch angle steel turned on the bedsides with 1.5 inch square tubing cut off .5 inch on two sides welded on the angle steel

I ended up not buying one yet because I have a Lincoln 180 mig at my work I can use anytime I want and we have four Lincoln 180 mig's at my school I can use whenever I want too

Do you have any measurements like how tall and wide it is? I'm going to do the same and make one in my welding class just a little different design. I wish I had a program like cad or something but I'm just drawing it out by hand.
