Default Custom headach rack (buy or build?)

I want to get a headach rack but I'm not sure if it would be cheeper to buy one online or to have a fab shop make one, I'm posting it on here because I figured that some one on here would have some sort of idea of what these things cost.

Have one built out of steel. Find pictures online or design it yourself that way you'll end up with exactly what you want. Many seem to copy the super expensive ProTech cab guard/headache rack that I have on mine. I've seen folks use 2x2 twisted 45-degrees to give the multi-point effect as seen on the ProTech racks. Twisted meaning the corner of the tube is facing the side of the truck rather than the flat side of the tube.

I built mine from 1x1 square tubing and expanded metal I'll post a pic soon as I get a chance, long as you can measure and weld it ain't too bad it took me a little over a hr. But like they said if you design ur own you get exactly what you want. I put lights on mine and was going to weld hooks but I figgerd somebody would try to pull a house with it

The cheap way would be to get a lumber rack and modify it to your specific design, that's what I did for my ranger
