I am starting body work on my 93' ranger as soon as the sun comes up..whats the proper way to remove the fender emblems? I do not own a heatgun.

Try a hairdryer instead. Be a bit careful not to overheat, or when you pry them off, with a PLASTIC spatula, you may bend them. I bent mine, but ordered some new ones from the dealer that I then blacked out.
Get a heatgun, they're not that expensive, and you know you'll need one anyway, at least someday, just in case!LOL

I also see that as I good reason to buy one!
Combine that with some good-old fishing line & you will be all set.

Re: Proper way to remove fender emblems?
Next time try wide unwaxed dental floss. Has more tooth than fishing line and saws the foam tape real easy. WD40 does a nice job of removing the leftover adhesive - just be sure to clean it good after.
