Default Re: taunno or topper?

I've gone through the same thought process myself.

When I get a cover, it will be a retractable or foldable tonneau that I can get out of the way if I have to haul something large. The solid piece tonneaus look great, but I'm not a fan of their functionality.

Either one is a good way to increase gas mileage. The sooner you get one, the more money you'll save in the long run.

Make sure you get one that locks!

Personally, I want a canopy/topper, a Leer 100R with lift up + slider side windows and roof rails. Everything stays dry inside, removal is 4 clamps and a friend for when I do happen to MAYBE load something tall inside. A quad can still fit underneeth it too.
only thing is my tools that i carry need to be in a safe and dry place. the light bulbs that i install wont fit in or under a tonneau plus a roll up soft cover don't seem to lock lol. now the hard roll up ones like rob showed look good. but have a friend that has one and its a pain in the ass when it rains it leakes and the leaves seem to stick to the top till you go and open it and thay stay in the holder

ill post pics of his

OUTCH....talk about blind spots....

I'm so worried about blind spots, that I'm considering throwing in a non-tinted rear glass on the truck when/if I run a canopy.

I've got the soft tonneau roll up. works well for hauling smaller stuff and being closed, but also works well to roll back if I need to haul bikes or the crotch rocket GSXR.
