Default My Add on!

I had a nice tax return this year, so I spent it on my truck.

Got the AVS Bugflector II.

Tonneau Truxsport cover, a Truxedo Brand.

Now just getting quotes on spray on bed liner. I'm leaning towards Line-X.

Yes, it's a 7' box. It was hard for me to find the cover for it, and rail caps.. But I'm debating on doing the Line-x over the rail or not.

Over the rail. Bought mine used without it and had to go get it finished with over the rail.

Looks nice and clean. Do the line-x over the rail, I personally like it done over only half the rail, that's what I have on my truck and you can see pictures of it here: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/media...my-ranger.html

Thanks for sharing, the half is not too bad.

The only thing I am worried how odd it may look with some of being exposed when the cover is put back on.

Anyone has a photo of the over the rail with the cover system on it?

It's a heavy-duty Velcro style.

That just means a "Mustache rides: $0.05" bumper sticker is in order.

Looks slick man. I always liked the look of a deflector on a white truck. I'd go with Line-X as well. I have a few buds with it and it is great. I have the factory ford liner and want to rip it out and line-x my truck. I might be the odd one out though, I like it to go over the rail like a bed rail cap. You get a lot of protection if you ever haul something awkward shaped, and it just looks more rugged imo. Half rail looks good if your truck is clean since it has better flowing lines that arent interrupted.

No offense Tom but only doing half the rail seems pretty dumb to me. Why not just get it over the rail so you have that extra protection.

Mayguy- I have a soft cover with over the rail Line-X. I'll look and see if I can find a good picture of it with the cover on so you can get an idea of how it will look.
