Default Removing rust from the frame and refinishing

Well guys, just wanted to see what you thought of my quick refinishing project.... I just bought this truck over the weekend, and looking under it I do not like rust so I decided today to strip the rust off, and repaint and reseal the entire frame. Redid underside of truck as well.

Thanks!.... I even went under the bumpers and along the control arms.

That actually raises a question.... as I'm new to trucks I do not know how to tow properly. looking at my rear bumper there is a hole right in front of the license plate that looks like one of those trailer hitch balls can be put in place to use for towing, and it looks like it has steel for reinforcement.... but I've seen that there are other hitches on ebay that extend down underneith the rear bumper and are hooked to the underside of the truck somehow.... what is the difference? if I wanted to tow a pair of jet skis could I just put one of those chrome tow balls in the factory hole, is it strong enough?

Sorry for the long question, I just wanted to find out before I break the bumper or something, lol.

if you dont have a hitch--get one! I will NEVER tow anything on my bumper. you can get a Class III Reese hitch at walmart for $109 and istall it yourself.

Yea buy a hitch. Don't try and tow anything from your bumper.

How do I go about installing it, is it a simple bolt on, or do I have to weld it on? Are they custom for different trucks or pretty universal? Sorry for the totally Newb questions, but I've built cars and turbo motors in the past, not lift kits and tow packages... But now I'm expanding my abilities.

What did you use to coat the frame? I'm doing that to mine here in the summer? Your bumper is only rated for like 800 lbs. Buy a hitch. And I have never seen a weld on hitch for a Ranger, they are all bolt on applications. Make sure you get one that fits around the spare tire. I don't know if all of them do or not but it's a pain if they don't. Then you have to come up with a place for the spare all the time. When your deep in the woods, it's not a fun walk to the road.

idk what he used, but i coated mine before the winter and u gotta make sure u get all the rust off or itll just rust throught your paint (even though they claim it wont, it will!!). i used por-15, but my bro used chassis saver on his yota and that paint seems to be holding up a little better.

Corsol is what truckers use, its apparently really good too.

my 05 frame is even more rusted than that, plus the previous owner did alot of towing with the bumper, darn bumper is all busted up lol, plus the body is covered with dents.

I did strip and grind off all the rust first, and I hit the metal with a brake cleaner to remove any left over sediment. I just didn't grind it 100% smooth, that is probably why it kinda looks like it was just sprayed over the rust, but it wasn't.
