Mine has a bunch of specs of contaminants that can't be scrapped off with a fingernail. So far I have tried washing it (while washing the rest of the truck) and grease & wax remover. It still looks the same.

Looks ok from afar and you can't really see anything except for a bit in the 3rd pic. You can see it much easier irl but from afar is looks fine.

you can try a little 0000 steel wool and polish but that looks like its chipped up
