Default ORI Baja Eliminator

So after waiting about 2 weeks for my lightbar it finally came in today. Just wish the 60 dollar shipping wasnt included haha.

Heres the box it came in

all wrapped up

Drill died so i was just sitting here waiting for it to charge back up

and finally heres she is mounted

Just showing how far it sticks out.

Ok im not gonna lie, the install was a huge pain in the ass. Ok drill the holes was easy enough. Its just the fact that once you drill and pull the bolts through. You have almost no room to even get the nuts on and tighten em down. My hands are pretty cut up from trying to squeeze my hands through the small amount of work room. All in all, was worth it and im happy with it ha. Ill mount some fogs soon enough

Im the same, thing is the corded one broke haha. I kept getting impatient and taking the battery back and seeing how much i could drill before it died again. I did that waaaay too many times

Looks good on your truck. I got mine in yesterday and just unboxed it last night but haven't gotten to even match it up to my bumper or lights yet. (work gets in the way sometimes...) I didn't see any installation instructions with it. I think it is probably obvious but thought I'd ask if you had any or if you can share how you went about mounting yours, any gotcha's other than the lack of space behind the bumper, etc. I would appreciate any words of wisdom you might have.

Thanks!

I bet you just loooved the shipping fee too huh lol. What I did was put the bar on your truck and make sure its all even on both sides. I just guesstimated using the license plate and marked it. After that I used a pencil to outline the mounting bolts and that was that. Next step is where you separate the men from the boys haha. Start drilling. If a 17 year old highschooler can do it, anyone can lol. Other things besides lack of space i had was lack of tools. My drill bit was a tad too small. Make sure you also make the hole a tad bit bigger than the bolt. You want some wiggle room. Paint over holes to prevent rust and thats it. Good luck man

Oh yea dont forget to put som eds big ass fogs on the bar too haha.

Yeah, shipping was a little steep for sure. Tools shouldn't be a problem for me as I have plenty since a man never gets rid of tools and at my age, let's just say I've collected a few. On the install, I figured I'd just eyeball it holding it against my bumper and mark the holes. Sounds like that's kindof what you did.

I already have a set of ProComp 7" HID spots that I hope I can cram in there. I'll throw a photo or two up on here once I get it done. Thanks again!

I almost bought one of these in January but went with the Westin light bar instead. Now I regret that decision. Looks really good on there.
