Since the Ranger I bought doesn't have A/C and window tint is illegal, I was wondering if a windshield visor does anything or is purely for looks?
I ran a search first but didn't really get anything on them, so I figured I would throw it up here and see what people thought or what their personal experiences were.

That's what I thought. I'm in the process of rejuvenating a very poorly maintained truck. Beautification will come later. I'm more interested in function at the moment.
