Right now I've got the base black plastic grille but I want an upgrade. Should I go with a color match or chrome grille. I want a cool sleek look

Color match it, I feel that any of the rangers after 92 look a little tacky with the big chrome grilles so maybe do color match possibly with the aluminum inserts those look good.

That's what I was thinking. Btw the color of my truck is metallic shadow gray.

Why wouldnt you be able yo use ur grille you have?

Anyone ever put fog lights in the little round "vents" on a xl valance

This is what the '05 grille with the insert removed and black billet installed looks like. I was going to leave it black but it is starting to look "unfinished" to me and i might color match it to the DSG.



I put an LED illuminated for logo on the bottom drivers side kinda as a tribute to the first gen rangers but have since re-located it behind the grille, links to more pictures in my signature.

My truck is a 2011, bought a 2005 grill new off eBay for $40 shipped. The middle pops out leaving the shell. Bought a black billet grill, bolted it right in.

Fogs are factory. But I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard at all to install aftermarket lights.

Are the "vents" in your valance snapped into place? They should pop out, you could most likely install factory fogs there

Well the 04 valance only comes in textured I painted it wetsanded it and painted it again to get rid of the texture and it looks great
