Default Removing bed bolts that have been Line-X'd over

When I had my bed Line-X'd, they didn't remove the bed bolts before spraying it. (That should be something they automatically do but W/E). I didn't know back then about the importance of removing the bolts before spraying.

Now I have to pull my bed off to change out my dead fuel pump. And the only thing that stands in the way is my Line-X. Has anyone ever pulled bed bolts that were sprayed over with Line-X? And how hard was it? They're telling me to take a brand new utility knife razor and make an incision around the washers. It doesn't seem like this would work. Line-X is tough as shit. Anyone?

----------

by the way, my bed bolts are not Torx. They are regular hex bolts.

Line-X works great! It sure sucks when they spray over the bolts.

LineX installer should have removed them at least that is what they told me before they applied mine. Yes they did as they said they would on mine.

I would just center punch the tops and drill out the heads. it took me about 15-20 minutes to drill mine and you work topside which is way easier.

Yeah i had time to do a few of them today with the blade and luckily the liner didnt give me too much of a problem. i was able to stencil them out and pull the liner off to expose the bolt heads and washers
